So the son left and went to his father.


When Esau saw Jacob, he ran to meet him. Esau put his arms around Jacob and hugged his neck and kissed him. Then they both cried.


Then Joseph kissed all his brothers and cried on them. After this, the brothers began talking with him.


Then Isaac said to him. “Son, come near and kiss me.”


And if a person came to Absalom and started to bow down to him, Absalom would {treat him like a close friend}—Absalom would reach out and touch that person and kiss him.

Then King Solomon sent some men to get Adonijah. The men brought Adonijah to King Solomon. Adonijah came to King Solomon and bowed down. Then Solomon said, “Go home.”
