“I will make a new heaven and a new earth.\par People will not remember the past.\par They won’t remember any of those things.\par


Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth had disappeared. Now there was no sea.


“I will make a new world—and the new heavens and the new earth \{will last forever\}. In the same way, your names and your children will always be with me.


“All of your people will be good.\par Those people will get the earth forever.\par I made those people.\par They are the wonderful plant\par that I made with my own hands.\par


Wolves and little lambs will eat together.\par Lions will eat with cattle.\par A snake on the ground will not scare or hurt\par any person on my holy mountain.”\par The Lord said all those things.\par


That everything God made would be made free from ruin (decay). There was hope that everything God made would have the freedom and glory that belong to God’s children.


Through his glory and goodness, Jesus gave us the very great and rich gifts that he promised us. With those gifts you can share in being like God. And so the world will not ruin you with the evil things it wants.
