¹⁸ Workers had built a covered place inside the temple area for the Sabbath [195] {meetings}. But Ahaz took away that covered place. Ahaz also took away the outside entrance for the king. Ahaz took all of these from the Lord’s temple. Ahaz did this because of the king of Assyria.
