2 Chronicles 3:3 - Easy To Read Version

3 These are the measurements Solomon used for building the foundation of God’s temple. {\cf2\super [25]} The foundation was 60 cubits {\cf2\super [26]} long and 20 cubits {\cf2\super [27]} wide. Solomon used the old cubit measure when he measured the temple.

Solomon started the work in the second month of his fourth year as king of Israel.


The door was 10 cubits {\cf2\super [361]} wide. The sides of the doorway were 5 cubits {\cf2\super [362]} on each side. The man measured that room. It was 40 cubits {\cf2\super [363]} long, and 20 cubits {\cf2\super [364]} wide.


So Solomon began to build the temple. This was 480 years [30] after the people of Israel left Egypt. This was during Solomon’s fourth year as king of Israel. It was in the month of Ziv, the second month of the year.
