David went up the Mount of Olives. He was crying. He covered his head and he went without shoes on his feet. All of the people with David also covered their heads. They went with David, crying.


And in the church God has given a place first to apostles, {\cf2\super [89]} second to prophets, {\cf2\super [90]} and third to teachers. Then God has given a place to those people that do miracles, {\cf2\super [91]} those people that have gifts of healing, those people that can help others, those people that are able to lead, and those people that can speak in different kinds of languages.


The Spirit gives to another person the power to do miracles, {\cf2\super [84]} to another person the ability to prophesy, {\cf2\super [85]} to another person the ability to know the difference between good and evil spirits. The Spirit gives one person the ability to speak in different kinds of languages, and to another person the ability to interpret those languages.


Even nature itself teaches you that wearing long hair is shameful for a man.


The king had covered his face. He was crying loudly, “O my son Absalom, O Absalom, my son, my son!”


A person’s enemies will be\par the people in his own house.\par A son will not honor his father.\par A daughter will turn against her mother.\par A daughter-in-law will turn against\par her mother-in-law.\par


In the church (group of believers) at Antioch there were some prophets {\cf2\super [243]} and teachers. They were: Barnabas, Simeon (also called Niger), Lucius (from the city of Cyrene), Manaen (who had grown up with Herod, {\cf2\super [244]} the ruler) and Saul.


But every woman that prays or prophesies should have her head covered. If her head is not covered, then she brings shame to her head. Then she is the same as a woman that has her head shaved.


I may have the gift of prophecy {\cf2\super [93]} ; I may understand all the secret things \{of God\} and know everything; and I may have faith so great that I can move mountains. But even with all these things, if I don’t have love, then I am nothing.


Don’t treat prophecy {\cf2\super [17]} like it is not important.
