1 Corinthians 11:34 - Easy To Read Version

34 If a person is \{too\} hungry to wait, then he should eat at home. Do this so that your meeting together will not bring God’s judgment on you. I will tell you what to do about the other things when I come.

But each person should continue to live the way the Lord God has given you to live—the way you were when God called you. This is a rule I make in all the churches.


But I will come to you very soon. I will come, if the Lord wants me to. Then I will see what these boasters can do, not what they can say.


I left you in Crete so that you could finish doing the things that still needed to be done. And I also left you there so that you could choose men to be elders {\cf2\super [3]} in every town.


On the first day of every week each one of you should save as much money as you can from what you are blessed with. You should put this money in a special place and keep it there. Then you will not have to gather your money after I come.


I plan to go through Macedonia. So I will come to you after I go through Macedonia.


That is why I am sending Timothy to you. He is my son in the Lord. I love Timothy, and he is faithful. He will help you remember the way I live in Christ Jesus. That way of life is what I teach in all the churches everywhere.


I do the same thing. I try to please everybody in every way. I am not trying to do what is good for me. I try to do what is good for the most people, so that they can be saved.


Now \{I will write\} about the collection \{of money\} for God’s people. Do the same thing that I told the Galatian churches to do:
