Any person that teaches his own ideas is trying to get honor for himself. But a person that tries to bring honor to the one that sent him—that person speaks the truth. There is nothing false in him.

So go and make followers of all people in the world. Baptize {\cf2\super [444]} them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. {\cf2\super [445]}


I am thankful that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius.


(I also baptized the family of Stephanas. But I don’t remember that I myself baptized any others.)
