These things will end, because this knowledge and these prophecies we have are not complete (not perfect).


King David stood up and said, “Listen to me, my brothers and my people. In my heart I wanted to build a place to keep the Box of the Lord’s Agreement. {\cf2\super [299]} I wanted to build a place that would be God’s footstool. {\cf2\super [300]} And I made the plans for building that house for God.


The angel came to her and said, “Greetings! The Lord (God) is with you. You are very special to him.”


The Lord All Powerful says, “At that time, many foreigners speaking different languages will come to a Jewish person, take hold of the hem of his robe and ask, ‘We heard that God is with you. Can we come with you to worship him?’”


May God give you what you really want.\par May he make all your plans successful.\par


David said to Solomon, “My son, I wanted to build a temple for the name of the Lord my God.


Nathan said to King David, “Do whatever you want to do. The Lord will be with you.”


But the Lord said to Samuel, “Eliab is tall and handsome. But don’t think about things like that. God does not look at the things people see. People look only at the outside of a person, but the Lord looks at his heart. Eliab is not the right man.”


After that happens, you can do whatever you choose to do. Why? Because God will be with you.


The men of Israel wanted to know if these men were telling the truth. So they tasted the bread—but they did not ask the Lord what they should do.


“My father David wanted very much to build a temple to honor the Lord, the God of Israel.


After David had moved into his house, he said to Nathan the prophet, “Look, I am living in a house made of cedar wood, but the Box of the Agreement {\cf2\super [192]} sits under a tent. \{I want to build a temple {\cf2\super [193]} for God.\}”


But that night the word of God came to Nathan.
