9 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: I am returned to Sion, and I will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called The city of truth, and the mountain of the Lord of hosts, The sanctified mountain.

6 For thou hast kept the statutes of Amri, and all the works of the house of Achab: and thou hast walked according to their wills, that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof a hissing, and you shall bear the reproach of my people.


0 The soul of the wicked desireth evil, he will not have pity on his neighbour.


3 And now, because you have done all these works, saith the Lord: and I have spoken to you rising up early, and speaking, and you have not heard: and I have called you, and you have not answered:


For thus saith the Lord to the house of the king of Juda: Thou art to me Galaad the head of Libanus: yet surely I will make thee a wilderness, and cities not habitable.


And this they said tempting him, that they might accuse him. But Jesus bowing himself down, wrote with his finger on the ground.


0 That the blood of all the prophets which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation,


1 Wherefore you are witnesses against yourselves, that you are the sons of them that killed the prophets.


And the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying:


You that sing to the sound of the psaltery: they have thought themselves to have instruments of music like David;


7 And the prince shall give the holocaust, and the sacrifice, and the libations on the feasts, and on the new moons, and on the sabbaths, and on all the solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall offer the sacrifice for sin, and the holocaust, and the peace offerings to make expiation for the house of Israel.


1 And they have built the high places of Topeth, which is in the valley of the son of Ennom, to burn their sons, and their daughters in the fire: which I commanded not, nor thought on in my heart.


0 If a man carnally lie with a woman that is a bondservant and marriageable, and yet not redeemed with a price, nor made free: they both shall be scourged, and they shall not be put to death, because she was not a free woman.


2 The Pharisees heard the people murmuring these things concerning him: and the rulers and Pharisees sent ministers to apprehend him.


If thou find as thou walkest by the way, a bird's nest in a tree, or on the ground, and the dam sitting upon the young or upon the eggs: thou shalt not take her with her young:


2 And Miphiboseth had a young son whose name was Micha: and all the kindred of the house of Siba served Miphiboseth.


9 Consider the paths of Thema, the ways of Saba, and wait a little while.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts: I have been jealous for Sion with a great jealousy, and with a great indignation have I been jealous for her.


5 If I have rejoiced over my great riches, and because my hand had gotten much.


When Ephraim spoke, a horror seized Israel: and he sinned in Baal and died.
