And I set my face to the Lord my God, to pray and make supplication with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes.

3 Yea, he shall build a temple to the Lord: and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit, and rule upon his throne: and he shall be a priest upon his throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.


And I lifted up my eyes and looked: and behold there came out two women, and wind was in their wings, and they had wings like the wings of a kite: and they lifted up the vessel between the earth and the heaven.


Then was the king's countenance changed, and his thoughts troubled him: and the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees struck one against the other.


3 And whereas the king saw a watcher, and a holy one come down from heaven, and say: Cut down the tree and destroy it, but leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, and let it be bound with iron and brass among the grass without, and let it be sprinkled with the dew of heaven, and let his feeding be with the wild beasts, till seven times pass over him.


1 This people have I formed for my- self, they shall shew forth my praise.

3 And there shall be month after month, and sabbath after sabbath: and all flesh shall come to adore before my face, saith the Lord.


1 How long shall I see men fleeing away, how long shall I hear the sound of the trumpet?
