8 The Lord grant unto him to find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou very well knowest.


0 For you are bought with a great price. Glorify and bear God in your body.


But before all things have a constant mutual charity among yourselves: for charity covereth a multitude of sins.


2 To whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you they ministered those things which are now declared to you by them that have preached the gospel to you, the Holy Ghost being sent down from heaven, on whom the angels desire to look.


0 Loving one another with the charity of brotherhood, with honour preventing one another.


3 But now in Christ Jesus, you, who some time were afar off, are made nigh by the blood of Christ.


Honour thy father and thy mother, which is the first commandment with a promise:


7 A sacrifice to God is an afflicted spirit: a contrite and humbled heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.


4 If, by any means, I may provoke to emulation them who are my flesh, and may save some of them.


And being consummated, he became, to all that obey him, the cause of eternal salvation.


9 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter towards them.


Shall not Sion say: This man and that man is born in her? and the Highest himself hath founded her.


Have you suffered so great things in vain? If it be yet in vain.


8 For we account a man to be justified by faith, without the works of the law.


9 For this is thankworthy, if for conscience towards God, a man endure sorrows, suffering wrongfully.


2 And be ye kind one to another; merciful, forgiving one another, even as God hath forgiven you in Christ.


But to him that worketh not, yet believeth in him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is reputed to justice, according to the purpose of the grace of God.


9 Thou wilt say therefore to me: Why doth he then find fault? for who resisteth his will?


And it came to pass, that when they were there, her days were accomplished, that she should be delivered.


2 And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called.


8 And her neighbours and kinsfolks heard that the Lord had shewed his great mercy towards her, and they congratulated with her.


Who can stand before the face of his indignation? and who shall resist in the fierceness of his anger? his indignation is poured out like fire: and the rocks are melted by him.


Deliver me from my enemies, O Lord, to thee have I fled:


If I shall enter into the tabernacle of my house: if I shall go up into the bed wherein I lie:


To whom hast thou given counsel? perhaps to him that hath no wisdom, and thou hast shewn thy very great prudence.


3 Send forward Zenas, the lawyer, and Apollo, with care, that nothing be wanting to them.


For Moses wrote, that the justice which is of the law, the man that shall do it, shall live by it.


4 Even us, whom also he hath called, nor only of the Jews, but also of the Gentiles.


3 For not through the law was the promise to Abraham, or to his seed, that he should be heir of the world; but through the justice of faith.


0 And the child grew, and was strengthened in spirit; and was in the deserts until the day of his manifestation to Israel.


0 But the wicked are like the raging sea, which cannot rest, and the waves thereof cast up dirt and mire.


5 And so patiently enduring he obtained the promise.


2 I will praise thee, O Lord my God: with my whole heart, and I will glorify thy name for ever:


because thou hast been my helper. And I will rejoice under the covert of thy wings:


9 To whom alone the earth was given, and no stranger hath passed among them.


5 My days have been swifter than a post: they have fled away and have not seen good.


0 And the Lord gave me two tables of stone written with the finger of God, and containing all the words that he spoke to you in the mount from the midst of the Are, when the people were assembled together.


3 Thus saith the Lord God: In the day that I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities, and shall cause the cities to be inhabited, and shall repair the ruinous places,


And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterwards he was hungry.


2 See then the goodness and the severity of God: towards them indeed that are fallen, the severity; but towards thee, the goodness of God, if thou abide in goodness, otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.


1 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
