They therefore being brought on their way by the church, passed through Phenice, and Samaria, relating the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren.


2 I give thanks who hath strengthened me, even to Christ Jesus our Lord, for that he hath counted me faithful, putting me in the ministry;


Smelling sweet of the best ointments. Thy name is as oil poured out: therefore young maidens have loved thee.


For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.


1 A faithful saying: for if we be dead with him, we shall live also with him.


To another, faith in the same spirit; to another, the grace of healing in one Spirit;


9 Then fearing lest we should fall upon rough places, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.


0 And when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small storm lay on us, all hope of our being saved was now taken away.


5 And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up against the wind, giving up the ship to the winds, we were driven.


And the angel said to him: Gird thyself, and put on thy sandals. And he did so. And he said to him: Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.


5 And it hath served men for fuel: he took thereof, and warmed himself: and he kindled it, and baked bread: but of the rest he made a god, and adored it: he made a graven thing, and bowed down before it.


4 Blotting out the handwriting of the decree that was against us, which was contrary to us. And he hath taken the same out of the way, fastening it to the cross:


9 And I will shew wonders in the heaven above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood and fire, and vapour of smoke.


7 The son of Thahath, the son of Asir, the son or Abiasaph, the son of Core,


1 And after they had fasted a long time, Paul standing forth in the midst of them, said: You should indeed, O ye men, have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and have gained this harm and loss.


To deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.


To be discreet, chaste, sober, having a care of the house, gentle, obedient to their husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.


7 And he that sleepeth in it, and eateth any thing, shall wash his clothes.
