8 And fear ye not them that kill the body, and are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him that can destroy both soul and body in hell.


I give thanks to my God in every remembrance of you,


5 Where is then your blessedness? For I bear you witness, that, if it could be done, you would have plucked out your own eyes, and would have given them to me.


4 He that loveth me not, keepeth not my words. And the word which you have heard, is not mine; but the Father's who sent me.


Which in other generations was not known to the sons of men, as it is now revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit:


3 And not only it, but ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption of the sons of God, the redemption of our body.


Rise up, O Lord, in thy anger: and be thou exalted in the borders of my enemies. And arise, O Lord my God, in the precept which thou hast commanded:


And whereas indeed he was the Son of God, he learned obedience by the things which he suffered:


2 There is one lawgiver, and judge, that is able to destroy and to deliver.


0 And again he saith: Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.


2 And Jesus said to the chief priests, and magistrates of the temple, and the ancients, that were come unto him: Are ye come out, as it were against a thief, with swords and clubs?


And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be confounded, every one by his own vision, when he shall prophesy, neither shall they be clad with a garment of sackcloth, to deceive :


3 For whether we be transported in mind, it is to God; or whether we be sober, it is for you.


He shall rain snares upon sinners: fire and brimstone and storms of winds shall be the portion of their cup.


1 Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we use persuasion to men; but to God we are manifest. And I trust also that in your consciences we are manifest.


0 And behold two blind men sitting by the way side, heard that Jesus passed by, and they cried out, saying: O Lord, thou son of David, have mercy on us.


2 But thou, O Lord, endurest for ever: and thy memorial to all generations.


0 Let all my enemies be ashamed, and be very much troubled: let them be turned back, and be ashamed very speedily.


1 Of whom we have much to say, and hard to be intelligibly uttered: because you are become weak to hear.


Because the wisdom of the flesh is an enemy to God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither can it be.


0 And I covered my soul in fasting: and it was made a reproach to me.


7 But thou art always the selfsame, and thy years shall not fail.


Then the Lord answered Job out of a whirlwind, and said :


4 Thau. Thou shalt render them a recompense, O Lord, according to the works of their hands.
