Let love be without dissimulation. Hating that which is evil, cleaving to that which is good.


KNOW you not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) that the law hath dominion over a man, as long as it liveth?


And in fine, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, being lovers of the brotherhood, merciful, modest, humble:


4 But above all these things have charity, which is the bond of perfection:


3 Was that then which is good, made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it may appear sin, by that which is good, wrought death in me; that sin, by the commandment, might become sinful above measure.


1 If any man speak, let him speak, as the words of God. If any man minister, let him do it, as of the power, which God administereth: that in all things God may be honoured through Jesus Christ: to whom is glory and empire for ever and ever. Amen.


2 Which all are unto destruction by the very use, according to the precepts and doctrines of men.


But if they do not contain themselves, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to be burnt.


Again a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true both in him and in you; because the darkness is passed, and the true light now shineth.


The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband. And in like manner the husband also hath not power of his own body, but the wife.


4 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and breaking down the middle wall of partition, the enmities in his flesh:


9 For unto you it is given for Christ, not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.


8 Fly fornication. Every sin that a man doth, is without the body; but he that committeth fornication, sinneth against his own body.


Therefore, my brethren, you also are become dead to the law, by the body of Christ; that you may belong to another, who is risen again from the dead, that we may bring forth fruit to God.


3 But we will not glory beyond our measure; but according to the measure of the rule, which God hath measured to us, a measure to reach even unto you.


9 I speak an human thing, because of the infirmity of your flesh. For as you have yielded your members to serve uncleanness and iniquity, unto iniquity; so now yield your members to serve justice, unto sanctification.


Blessed is the man that doth this, and the son of man that shall lay hold on this: that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, that keepeth his hands from doing any evil.


3 And much people were assembled to Jerusalem to celebrate the solemnity of the unleavened bread in the second month:


3 Because the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is the head of the church. He is the saviour of his body.


4 In this present time let your abundance supply their want, that their abundance also may supply your want, that there may be an equality,


Giving no offence to any man, that our ministry be not blamed:


For the wisdom of the flesh is death; but the wisdom of the spirit is life and peace.


And the lord commended the unjust steward, forasmuch as he had done wisely: for the children of this world are wiser in their generation than the children of light.


0 Be humbled in the sight of the Lord, and he will exalt you.


But according to thy hardness and impenitent heart, thou treasurest up to thyself wrath, against the day of wrath, and revelation of the just judgment of God.


2 There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.


2 But it was fit that we should make merry and be glad, for this thy brother was dead and is come to life again; he was lost, and is found.


Then I set forth a decree, that all the wise men of Babylon should be brought in before me, and that they should shew me the interpretation of the dream.


2 That grieveth the needy and the poor, that taketh away by violence, that restoreth not the pledge, and that lifteth up his eyes to idols, that committeth abomination:


5 Grief in the heart of a man shall bring him low, but with a good word he shall be made glad.


7 Keep innocence, and behold justice : for there are remnants for the peaceable man.


Thou shalt take the first of all thy fruits, and put then? in a basket, and shalt go to the place which the Lord thy God shall choose, that his name may be invocated there:


And we have confidence concerning you in the Lord, that the things which we command, you both do, and will do.


For he saith: In an accepted time have I heard thee; and in the day of salvation have I helped thee. Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.


4 But the servant of the Lord must not wrangle: but be mild towards all men, apt to teach, patient,
