Which in other generations was not known to the sons of men, as it is now revealed to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit:


1 To him be glory in the church, and in Christ Jesus unto all generations, world without end. Amen.


0 But by the grace of God, I am what I am; and his grace in me hath not been void, but I have laboured more abundantly than all they: yet not I, but the grace of God with me.


Who shall render account to him, who is ready to judge the living and the dead.


1 Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil by good.


5 While it is said, To day if you shall hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in that provocation.


Neither did we eat any man's bread for nothing, but in labour and in toil we worked night and day, lest we should be chargeable to any of you.


7 Therefore doth the Father love me: because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.


But we are confident, and have a good will to be absent rather from the body, and to be present with the Lord.


2 There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.


The earth shook and trembled: the foundations of the mountains were troubled and were moved, because he was angry with them.


2 For which cause also I was hindered very much from coming to you, and have been kept away till now.


And night shall be no more: and they shall not need the light of the lamp, nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God shall enlighten them, and they shall reign for ever and ever.


2 And it had a wall great and high, having twelve gates, and in the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.


3 For until the law sin was in the world; but sin was not imputed, when the law was not.


1 Do we, then, destroy the law through faith? God forbid: but we establish the law.


5 Who shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness to them, and their thoughts between themselves accusing, or also defending one another,


4 If you shall ask me any thing in my name, that I will do.


5 As the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father: and I lay down my life for my sheep.


Lift up thy hands against their pride unto the end; see what things the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.


0 The fifth, sardonyx: the sixth, sardius: the seventh, chrysolite: the eighth, beryl: the ninth, a topaz: the tenth, a chrysoprasus: the eleventh, a jacinth: the twelfth, an amethyst.

And without all contradiction, that which is less, is blessed by the better.


2 He that spared not even his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how hath he not also, with him, given us all things?


But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.


And when there had been much disputing, Peter, rising up, said to them: Men, brethren, you know, that in former days God made choice among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.


9 For to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall abound: but from him that hath not, that also which he seemeth to have shall be taken away.


2 Whom I have sent to you for this same purpose, that you may know the things concerning us, and that he may comfort your hearts.


We suffer persecution, but are not forsaken; we are cast down, but we perish not:


3 Let us not therefore judge one another any more. But judge this rather, that you put not a stumblingblock or a scandal in your brother's way.


A peaceable tongue is a tree of life: but that which is immoderate, shall crush the spirit.


Be silent before the face of the Lord God: for the day of the Lord is near, for the Lord hath prepared a victim, he hath sanctified his guests.


8 As concerning the gospel, indeed, they are enemies for your sake: but as touching the election, they are most dear for the sake of the fathers.
