1 For the scripture saith: Whosoever believeth in him, shall not be confounded.


For scarce for a just man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man some one would dare to die.


1 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the justice of the faith, which he had, being uncircumcised; that he might be the father of all them that believe, being uncircumcised, that unto them also it may be reputed to justice:


7 All that the Father giveth to me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me, I will not cast out.


2 There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.


2 Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and prepareth a city by iniquity.


And the children of Israel cried to the Lord: and he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them. Your eyes saw all that I did in Egypt, and you dwelt in the wilderness a long time:


1 And he taught his disciple, and said to them: The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise again the third day.


4 For if they who are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, the promise is made of no effect.
