And the angel said to me: Why dost thou wonder? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast which carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

7 The messenger of the wicked shall fall into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.

7 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered Isaac: and he that had received the promises, offered up his only begotten son;


6 For patience is necessary for you; that, doing the will of God, you may receive the promise.


For it is impossible for those who were once illuminated, have tasted also the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,


Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.


5 In like manner also the chalice, after he had supped, saying: This chalice is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as often as you shall drink, for the commemoration of me.


7 For it hath pleased them; and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they ought also in carnal things to minister to them.


Lord, they have slain thy prophets, they have dug down thy altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.


0 What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who followed not after justice, have attained to justice, even the justice that is of faith.


For the woman that hath an husband, whilst her husband liveth is bound to the law. But if her husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.


6 For this cause God delivered them up to shameful affections. For their women have changed the natural use into that use which is against nature.


4 And the Lord will give a commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name shall be sown: I will destroy the graven and molten thing out of the house of thy God, I will make it thy grave, for thou art disgraced.


Hearken to me, you that know what is just, my people who have my law in your heart: fear ye not the reproach of men, and be not afraid of their blasphemies.

0 The fruit of the just man is a tree of life: and he that gaineth souls, is wise.

Or do you think that the scripture saith in vain: To envy doth the spirit covet which dwelleth in you?


Be subject therefore to God, but resist the devil, and he will fly from you.
