0 For Christ therefore we are ambassadors, God as it were exhorting by us. For Christ, we beseech you, be reconciled to God.


The sound word that can not be blamed: that he, who is on the contrary part, may be afraid, having no evil to say of us.


1 Now he that confirmeth us with you in Christ, and that hath anointed us, is God:


1 I will teach you by the hand of God, what the Almighty hath, and I will not conceal it.


1 These things command and teach.


For this is the word of promise: According to this time will I come; and Sara shall have a son.


4 And after some days, Felix, coming with Drusilla his wife, who was a Jew, sent for Paul, and heard of him the faith, that is in Christ Jesus.


And there arose a great cry. And some of the Pharisees rising up, strove, saying: We find no evil in this man. What if a spirit hath spoken to him, or an angel?


9 Only this I have found, that God made man right, and he hath entangled himself with an infinity of questions. Who is as the wise man? and who hath known the resolution of the word?


And Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the precepts of David his father, only he sacrificed in the high places: and burnt incense.


Did not he say to me : She is my sister: and she say, He is my brother? in the simplicity of my heart, and cleanness of my hands have I done this.


7 And in your law it is written, that the testimony of two men is true.


2 Thou that sayest, men should not commit adultery, committest adultery: thou that abhorrest idols, committest sacrilege:


(I speak according to man.) God forbid: otherwise how shall God judge this world?
