5 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth that which is evil. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.


1 For there is no respect of persons with God.


8 For he shall finish his word, and cut it short in justice; because a short word shall the Lord make upon the earth.


Your gold and silver is cankered: and the rust of them shall be for a testimony against you, and shall eat your flesh like fire. You have stored up to yourselves wrath against the last days.


For if we put bits into the mouths of horses, that they may obey us, and we turn about their whole body.

For I say that Christ Jesus was minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.


4 I write not these things to confound you; but I admonish you as my dearest children.
