And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to strike him on the mouth.


1 And all that heard him, were astonished, and said: Is not this he who persecuted in Jerusalem those that called upon this name: and came hither for that intent, that he might carry them bound to the chief priests?


3 And when many days were passed, the Jews consulted together to kill him.


4 My charity be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.


9 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ who was preached among you by us, by me, and Sylvanus, and Timothy, was not, It is and It is not, but, It is, was in him.


See the things that are according to outward appearance. If any man trust to himself, that he is Christ's, let him think this again with himself, that as he is Christ's, so are we also.
