1 They will hunt after the soul of the just, and will condemn innocent blood.


1 Searching what or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ in them did signify: when it foretold those sufferings that are in Christ, and the glories that should follow:


1 But Israel, by following after the law of justice, is not come unto the law of justice.


5 You are the children of the prophets, and of the testament which God made to our fathers, saying to Abraham: And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.


6 And Juda said to him: What shall we answer my lord? or what shall we say, or be able justly to allege? God hath found out the iniquity of thy servants: behold, we are all bondmen to my lord, both we, and he with whom the cup was found.


4 What shall we say then? Is there injustice with God? God forbid.


And the multitude of the city was divided; and some of them indeed held with the Jews, but some with the apostles.


8 Yet the most High dwelleth not in houses made by hands, as the prophet saith:


9 The woman saith to him: Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.


And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and he said to him: If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself from hence.


5 And they have not served thee in their kingdoms, and in thy manifold goodness, which thou gavest them, and in the large and fat land, which thou deliveredst before them, nor did they return from their most wicked devices.


0 And the Lord speaking to Moses and Aaron, said:


And when he had received them, he fashioned them by founders' work, and made of them a molten calf. And they said: These are thy gods, O Israel, that have brought thee out of the land of Egypt.


0 And: Thou in the beginning, O Lord, didst found the earth: and the works of thy hands are the heavens.


If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of charity, if any society of the spirit, if any bowels of commiseration:


6 Men that have given their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.


1 And such some of you were; but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of our God.


And he shall lead Sedecias to Babylon: and he shall be there till I visit him, saith the Lord. But if you will fight against the Chaldeans, you shall have no success.


4 And Jesus seeing that he had answered wisely, said to him: Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any question.


KNOW you not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) that the law hath dominion over a man, as long as it liveth?


2 Now when you sin thus against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
