14 2 See then the goodness and the severity of God: towards them indeed that are fallen, the severity; but towards thee, the goodness of God, if thou abide in goodness, otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

5 Now concerning virgins, I have no commandment of the Lord; but I give counsel, as having obtained mercy of the Lord, to be faithful.


Let a widow be chosen of no less than threescore years of age, who hath been the wife of one husband.


4 And let our men also learn to excel in good works for necessary uses: that they be not unfruitful.


9 But the sure foundation of God standeth firm, having this seal: the Lord knoweth who are his; and let every one depart from iniquity who nameth the name of the Lord.


3 For Adam was first formed; then Eve.


0 But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and justice, and sanctification, and redemption:


9 Thou wilt say then: The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.


Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.


1 For when the children were not yet born, nor had done any good or evil (that the purpose of God, according to election, might stand,)


1 Trusting in thy obedience, I have written to thee: knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.

And if by grace, it is not now by works: otherwise grace is no more grace.


For the man was not created for the woman, but the woman for the man.


Who will have all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth.


8 The Lord grant unto him to find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou very well knowest.


But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour: that, through the grace of God, he might taste death for all.


2 I will declare thy name to my brethren; in the midst of the church will I praise thee.
