3 And you know, how through infirmity of the flesh, I preached the gospel to you heretofore: and your temptation in my flesh,


2 They said therefore unto him: Who art thou, that we may give an answer to them that sent us? What sayest thou of thyself?


Though thou be exalted as an eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars: thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord.


Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three measures apiece.


3 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?


Many say to my soul: There is no salvation for him in his God.


5 I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.


For you remember, brethren, our labour and toil: working night and day, lest we should be chargeable to any of you, we preached among you the gospel of God.


3 As it is written: Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.


Jesus therefore said to them: Children, have you any meat? They answered him: No.


8 But if I do, though you will not believe me, believe the works: that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.

8 For the word of the cross, to them indeed that perish, is foolishness; but to them that are saved, that is, to us, it is the power of God.

But the other disciples came in the ship, (for they were not far from the land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.

3 You sent to John, and he gave testimony to the truth.


7 To give knowledge of salvation to his people, unto the remission of their sins:


1 And behold the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top even to the bottom, and the earth quaked, and the rocks were rent.


1 And as he went out of the gate, another maid saw him, and she saith to them that were there: This man also was with Jesus of Nazareth.


0 And there came to him great multitudes, having with them the dumb, the blind, the lame, the maimed, and many others: and they cast them down at his feet, and he healed them:


1 Therefore I say to you: Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy of the Spirit shall not be forgiven.


5 And Jesus went about all the cities, and towns, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease, and every infirmity.


Again the devil took him up into a very high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them,


4 And Azor begot Sadoc. And Sadoc begot Achim. And Achim begot Eliud.


7 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, and as the vessel of a potter they shall be broken,


I was exceedingly glad when the brethren came and gave testimony to the truth in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.


Look to yourselves, that you lose not the things which you have wrought: but that you may receive a full reward.


4 And this is the confidence which we have towards him: That, whatsoever we shall ask according to his will, he heareth us.


0 He that believeth in the Son of God, hath the testimony of God in himself. He that believeth not the Son, maketh him a liar: because he believeth not in the testimony which God hath testified of his Son.


For this is the charity of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not heavy.


He that loveth not, knoweth not God: for God is charity.


7 He that hath the substance of this world, and shall see his brother in need, and shall shut up his bowels from him: how doth the charity of God abide in him?


And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.


A faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.


7 For the justice of God is revealed therein, from faith unto faith, as it is written: The just man liveth by faith.


8 And he was with them coming in and going out in Jerusalem, and dealing confidently in the name of the Lord.


And falling on the ground, he heard a voice saying to him: Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?


1 Whom heaven indeed must receive, until the times of the restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets, from the beginning of the world.

This blessedness then, doth it remain in the circumcision only, or in the uncircumcision also? For we say that unto Abraham faith was reputed to justice.


1 For when the children were not yet born, nor had done any good or evil (that the purpose of God, according to election, might stand,)


7 If any of them that believe not, invite you, and you will be willing to go; eat of any thing that is set before you, asking no question for conscience' sake.


4 And Adam was not seduced; but the woman being seduced, was in the transgression.
