1 For prophecy came not by the will of man at any time: but the holy men of God spoke, inspired by the Holy Ghost.


So that nothing is wanting to you in any grace, waiting for the manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ.


2 Now we charge them that are such, and beseech them by the Lord Jesus Christ, that, working with silence, they would eat their own bread.


And the church which is in their house. Salute Epenetus, my beloved: who is the firstfruits of Asia in Christ.


And in godliness, love of brotherhood; and in love of brotherhood, charity.


And you, employing all care, minister in your faith, virtue; and in virtue, knowledge;


Not as if we had not power: but that we might give ourselves a pattern unto you, to imitate us.


4 And there were certain men, seven sons of Sceva, a Jew, a chief priest, that did this.


3 And upon the sabbath day, we went forth without the gate by a river side, where it seemed that there was prayer; and sitting down, we spoke to the women that were assembled.


5 Then Josaphat came, and all the people with him to take away the spoils of the dead, and they found among the dead bodies, stuff of various kinds, and garments, and most precious vessels: and they took them for themselves, insomuch that they could not carry all, nor in three days take away the spoils, the booty was so great.


But as touching the charity of brotherhood, we have no need to write to you: for yourselves have learned of God to love one another.


1 Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.


0 Now I rejoice in the Lord exceedingly, that now at length your thought for me hath flourished again, as you did also think; but you were busied.


Being circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; according to the law, a Pharisee:


7 And some out of contention preach Christ not sincerely: supposing that they raise affliction to my bands.


For if also I should boast somewhat more of our power, which the Lord hath given us unto edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed.


To him who is such a one, this rebuke is sufficient, which is given by many:


Salute Ampliatus, most beloved to me in the Lord.


2 That I may come to you with joy, by the will of God, and may be refreshed with you.


9 And the whole city was filled with confusion; and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's companions, they rushed with one accord into the theatre.


And the king said to her: What is the matter with thee? She answered: Alas, I am a widow woman: for my husband is dead.


8 Pray for us. For we trust we have a good conscience, being willing to behave ourselves well in all things.


3 For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.


0 And Banaias the son of Joiada a most valiant man, of great deeds, of Cabseel: he slew the two lions of Moab, and he went down, and slew a lion in the midst of a pit, in the time of snow.


1 Jacob answered: That I departed unknown to thee, it was for fear lest thou wouldst take away thy daughters by force.


0 For the invisible things of him, from the creation of the world, are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made; his eternal power also, and divinity: so that they are inexcusable.


4 Not because we exercise dominion over your faith: but we are helpers of your joy: for in faith you stand.
