1 And great hail, like a talent, came down from heaven upon men: and men blasphemed God for the plague of the hail: because it was exceeding great.


And he cried with a loud voice as when a lion roareth. And when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.


And the city was broken up, and the men of war fled, and went out of the city in the night by the way of the gate that is between the two walls, and leadeth to the king's garden, (the Chaldeans besieging the city round about, ) sad they went by the way that leadeth to the wilderness.


And out of Bete, and out of Beroth, cities of Adarezer, king David took an exceeding great quantity of brass.


4 And the name of the third river is Tigris: the same passeth along by the Assyrians. And the fourth river is Euphrates.


And he opened the bottomless pit: and the smoke of the pit arose, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke of the pit.


0 And they cried with a loud voice, saying: Salvation to our God, who sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb.


1 And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
