0 Forty years long was I offended with that generation, and I said: These always err in heart.


For the lawgiver shall give a blessing, they shall go from virtue to virtue: the God of gods shall be seen in Sion.


4 And when his kinsman had seen all things that he did among the people, he said: What is it that thou dost among the people? Why sittest thou alone, and all the people wait from morning till night.


8 For thus saith the Lord: Behold I will cast away far off the inhabitants of the land at this time: and I will afflict them, so that they may be found.


2 And gave their land for an inheritance, for an inheritance to his people Israel.


That he might shew in the ages to come the abundant riches of his grace, in his bounty towards us in Christ Jesus.


1 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad, let the sea be moved, and the fulness thereof:


6 The portion of Jacob is not like these: for it is he who formed all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the Lord of hosts is his name.


5 For thou, O Lord my God, hast revealed to the ear of thy servant, that thou wilt build him a house: and therefore thy servant hath found confidence to pray before thee.


The Lord hath reigned, he is clothed with beauty: the Lord is clothed with strength, and hath girded himself. For he hath established the world which shall not be moved.


The moon and the stars to rule the night: for his mercy endureth for ever.


3 Hear, you that are far off, what I have done, and you that are near know my strength.
