To David himself, understanding. Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.


But I, as a fruitful olive tree in the house of God, have hoped in the mercy of God for ever, yea for ever and ever.


And I understood: and behold a he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and he touched not the ground, and the he goat had a notable horn between his eyes.


0 Burning coals shall fall upon them; thou wilt cast them down into the fire: in miseries they shall not be able to stand.


2 The queen of the south shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold a greater than Solomon here.


2 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but he that shall speak against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in the world to come.


9 And he said to me: I will shew thee what things are to come to pass in the end of the malediction: for the time hath its end.


9 After this I would diligently learn concerning the fourth beast. which was very different from all, and exceeding terrible: his teeth and claws were of iron: he devoured and broke in pieces, and the rest he stamped upon with his feet:


6 I went near to one of them that stood by, and asked the truth of him concerning all these things, and he told me the interpretation of the words, and instructed me:


And thou shalt say: Hear the word of the Lord, O ye kings of Juda, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem: Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold I will bring an affliction upon this place: so that whoever shall hear it, his ears shall tingle:


1 By three things the earth is disturbed, and the fourth it cannot bear:


Thou hast moved the earth, and hast troubled it: heal thou the breaches thereof, for it has been moved.


4 They shall return at evening and shall suffer hunger like dogs: and shall go round about the city.


He raiseth up the needy from the dust, and lifteth up the poor from the dunghill: that he may sit with princes, and hold the throne of glory. For the poles of the earth are the Lord's, and upon them he hath set the world.


0 His children shall be oppressed with want, and his hands shall render him his sorrow.


Unless the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it. Unless the Lord keep the city, he watcheth in vain that keepeth it.
