And a man shall be as when one is hid from the wind, and hideth himself from a storm, as rivers of waters in drought, and the shadow of a rock that standeth out in a desert land.


Thus will I bless thee all my life long: and in thy name I will lift up my hands.


For thus saith the Lord the God of Israel to the houses of this city, and to the houses of the king of Juda, which rue destroyed, and to the bulwarks, and to the sword.


Will God then cast off for ever? or will he never be more favourable again?


1 Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharao king of Egypt: and behold it is not bound up, to be healed, to be tied up with clothes, and swathed with linen, that it might recover strength, and hold the sword.


7 And thy heart was lifted up with thy beauty: thou best lost thy wisdom in thy beauty, I have cast thee to the ground: I have set thee before the face of kings, that they might behold thee.


0 And Sehon the king of Hesebon would not let us pass: because the Lord thy God had hardened his spirit, and fixed his heart, that he might be delivered into thy hands, as now thou seest.


0 By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, till thou be increased, and dost possess the land.


0 Thou shalt die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God.


9 For Pharao went in on horseback with his chariots and horsemen into the sea: and the Lord brought back upon them the waters of the sea: but the children of Israel walked on dry ground in the midst thereof.


5 And they destroyed the sheepcotes, and took an infinite number of cattle, and of camels: and returned to Jerusalem.


By the fruit of their corn, their wine and oil, they are multiplied.
