Consider, and hear me, O Lord my God. Enlighten my eyes that I never sleep in death:


3 As a father hath compassion on his children, so hath the Lord compassion on them that fear him:


7 Lord, when wilt thou look upon me? rescue thou soul from their malice : my only one from the lions.


God is not before his eyes: his ways are filthy at all times. Thy judgments are removed from his sight: he shall rule over all his enemies.


But Zorobabel, and Josue, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel said to them: You have nothing to do with us to build a house to our God, but we ourselves alone will build to the Lord our God, as Cyrus king of the Persians hath commanded us.


9 And the word of the Lord came to Jeremias, saying:


5 In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified and praised.


9 Let them that detract me be clothed with shame: and let them be covered with the their confusion as with a double cloak.
