He that heapeth together riches by usury and loan, gathereth them for him that will be bountiful to the poor.


1 Therefore I also will walk them, and bring them into their enemies' land until their uncircumcised mind be ashamed: then shall they pray for their sins.


2 And I will send in upon you the beasts of the held, to destroy you and your cattle, and make you few in number, and that your highways may be desolate.


3 And you shall know that I am the Lord, when your slain shall be amongst your idols, round about your altars, in every high hill, and on all the tops of mountains, and under every woody tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they burnt sweet smelling frankincense to all their idols.


Behold you put your trust in lying words, which shall not profit you:


I looked on my right hand, and beheld, and there was no one that would know me. Flight hath failed me: and there is no one that hath regard to my soul.


0 Then Saul and all the people that were with him, shouted together, and they came to the place of the fight: and behold every man's sword was turned upon his neighbour, and there was a very great slaughter.


7 For behold they that go far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that are disloyal to thee.


I said: O Lord, be thou merciful to me : heal my soul, for I have sinned against thee.


O Lord, thy mercy is in heaven, and thy truth reacheth, even to the clouds.


1 Unjust witnesses rising up have asked me things I knew not.


he that hath not put out his money to usury, nor taken bribes against the innocent: He that doth these things shall not be moved for ever.


1 Serve ye the Lord with fear: and rejoice unto him with trembling.


4 Nun. Thy prophets have seen false and foolish things for thee: and they have not laid open thy iniquity, to excite thee to penance: but they have seen for thee false revelations and banishments.


6 He hath run against him with his neck raised up, and is armed with a fat neck.


3 Against Damascus. Emath is confounded and Arphad: for they have heard very bad tidings, they are troubled as in the sea: through care they could not rest.
