0 In it shall thy animals dwell; in thy sweetness, O God, thou hast provided for the poor.


And if he came in to see me, he spoke vain things : his heart gathered together iniquity to itself. He went out and spoke to the same purpose.


1 Wherefore casting away all uncleanness, and abundance of naughtiness, with meekness receive the ingrafted word, which is able to save your souls.


I gave you milk to drink, not meat; for you were not able as yet. But neither indeed are you now able; for you are yet carnal.


And a voice came out from the throne, saying: Give praise to our God, all ye his servants; and you that fear him, little and great.


4 What shall it profit, my brethren, if a man say he hath faith, but hath not works? Shall faith be able to save him?


7 For what is the good thing of him, and what is his beautiful thing, but the corn of the elect, and wine springing forth virgins?


For thou hast struck all them who are my adversaries without cause: thou hast broken the teeth of sinners.


deliver me in thy justice, and rescue me. Incline thy ear unto me, and save me.


Who by his power ruleth for ever: his eyes behold the nations; let not them that provoke him he exalted in themselves.


Thy justice is as the mountains of God, thy judgments are a great deep. Men and beasts thou wilt preserve, O Lord :


They shall return at evening, and shall suffer hunger like dogs: and shall go round about the city.


3 And didst thou hold the extremities of the earth shaking them, and hast thou shaken the ungodly out of it?


For they and all their flocks came with their tents, and like locusts filled all places, an innumerable multitude of men, and of camels, wasting whatsoever they touched.
