3 Behold the days come, saith the Lord, when the ploughman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed: and the mountains shall drop sweetness, and every hill shall be tilled.


3 And now I will break in pieces his rod with which he struck thy back, and I will burst thy bonds asunder.


2 For she is become weak unto good that dwelleth in bitterness: for evil is come down from the Lord into the gate of Jerusalem.


9 And the Lord answered and said to his people: Behold I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and you shall be filled with them: and I will no more make you a reproach among the nations.


0 And the Lord will reward me according to my justice; and will repay me according to the cleanness of my hands:


How have they searched Esau, how have they sought out his hidden things?


0 And I will send a fire upon the wall of Tyre, and it shall devour the houses thereof.


8 He has forsaken his covert as the lion, for the land is laid waste because of the wrath of the dove, and because of the fierce anger of the Lord.


2 Rejoice, ye just, in the Lord: and give praise to the remembrance of his holiness.


O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my offences are not hidden from thee:


5 The mountain of God is a fat mountain. A curdled mountain, a fat mountain.


And said: O Lord God of our fathers, thou art God in heaven, and rulest over all the kingdoms and nations, in thy hand is strength and power, and no one can resist thee.


And Josue said to the people: Be ye sanctified: for to morrow the Lord will do wonders among you.


6 And she said to them: Get ye up to the mountains, lest perhaps they meet you as they return: and there lie ye hid three days, till they come back, and so you shall go on your way.


4 They answered her: Be our lives for you unto death, only if thou betray us not. And when the Lord shall have delivered us the land, we will shew thee mercy and truth.


And he that sat on the throne, said: Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me: Write, for these words are most faithful and true.


6 Neither shalt thou bring any thing of the idol into thy house, lest thou become an anathema, like it. Thou shalt detest it as dung, and shalt utterly abhor it as uncleanness and filth, because it is an anathema.


And he turned his face to the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying:


The Lord hath done great things for us: we are become joyful.


And the heart of fools shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of stammerers shall speak readily and plain.


And all the host of the heavens shall pine away, and the heavens shall be folded together as a book: and all their host shall fall down as the leaf falleth from the vine, and from the fig tree.


But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not be defiled with the king's table, nor with the wine which he drank: and he requested the master of the eunuchs that he might not be defiled.
