God also bearing them witness by signs, and wonders, and divers miracles, and distributions of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will.


3 Be thou exalted, O Lord, in thy own strength: we will sing and praise thy power.


2 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord: the people whom he hath chosen for his inheritance.


2 That we may be unto the praise of his glory, we who before hoped Christ:


6 Therefore let all the house of Israel know most certainly, that God hath made both Lord and Christ, this same Jesus, whom you have crucified.


Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well. It was about the sixth hour.


I have watched, and am become as a sparrow all alone on the housetop.


4 And they that were sent, were of the Pharisees.


Sing joyfully to God, all the earth: serve ye the Lord with gladness. Come in before his presence with exceeding great joy.


7 But in all these things we overcome, because of him that hath loved us.


3 But my mercy I will not take away from him: nor will I suffer my truth to fail.


7 And I will make him my firstborn, high above the kings of the earth.


Thou, O Lord, wilt preserve us.: and keep us from this generation for ever.

1 And returning back from him, he took a yoke of oxen, and killed them, and boiled the flesh with the plough of the oxen, and gave to the people, and they ate: and rising up he went away, and followed Elias, and ministered to him.


7 And the calf with the skin, and the flesh and the dung, he burnt without the camp, as the Lord had commanded.


And he said to me: See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them that keep the words of the prophecy of this book. Adore God.


For if that former had been faultless, there should not indeed a place have been sought for a second.


And Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be said:


5 The other disciples therefore said to him: We have seen the Lord. But he said to them: Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.


5 Behold your house shall be left to you desolate. And I say to you, that you shall not see me till the time come, when you shall say: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.


And behold a leper came and adored him, saying: Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.


8 And one of the servants answering, said: Behold I have seen a son of Isai the Bethlehemite, a skilful player, and one of great strength, and a man fit for war, and prudent in his words, and a comely person: and the Lord is with him.


4 And the Lord shall destroy out of Israel the head and the tail, him that bendeth down, and him that holdeth back, in one day.


2 And he shall set up a standard unto the nations, and shall assemble the fugitives of Israel, and shall gather together the dispersed of Juda from the four quarters of the earth.
