1 As I was yet speaking in prayer, behold the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, flying swiftly touched me at the time of the evening sacrifice.


9 But if thou forget the Lord thy God, and follow strange gods, and serve and adore them: behold now I foretell thee that thou shalt utterly perish.


7 Keep the precepts of the Lord thy God, and the testimonies and ceremonies which he hath commanded thee.


5 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying :


He cropped off the top of the twigs thereof: and carried it away into the land of Chanaan, and he set it in a city of merchants.


0 And the whole valley of dead bodies and of ashes, and all the country of death, even to the torrent Cedron, and the corner of the horse gate towards the east, the Holy of the Lord: it shall not be plucked up, and it shall not be destroyed any more for ever.


Therefore the showers were withholden, and there was no lateward rain: thou hadst a harlot's forehead, thou wouldst not blush.


For thus saith the Lord to me: I will take my rest, and consider in my place, as the noon light is clear, and as a cloud of dew in the day of harvest.


4 Their priests fell by the sword: and their widows did not mourn.

Unto the end, for them that shall be changed, for the sons of Core, for understanding. A canticle for the Beloved. My heart hath uttered a good word I speak my works to the king; My tongue is the pen of a scrivener that writeth swiftly.


The sinner hath provoked the Lord according to the multitude of his wrath he will not seek him:
