6 Jesus answered: He it is to whom I shall reach bread dipped. And when he had dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.


1 Then Jesus said to them: All you shall be scandalized in me this night. For it is written: I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be dispersed.


8 Why came I out of the womb, to see labour and sorrow, and that my days should be spent in confusion?


4 With an iron pen and in a plate of lead, or else be graven with an instrument in flint stone.


5 For the day of the Lord is at hand upon all nations: as thou hast done, so shall it be done to thee: he will turn thy reward upon thy own head.


3 And the land shall be made desolate, because of the inhabitants thereof, and for the fruit of their devices.


7 And the king going forth and all Israel on foot, stood afar off from the house:


8 Even fools despise me; and when I gone from them, they spoke against me.


0 And he said: I will hide my face from them, and will consider what their last end shall be: for it is a perverse generation, and unfaithful children.


Turn not away thy face from me: in the day when I am in trouble, incline thy ear to me. In what day soever I shall call upon thee, hear me speedily.
