Blessed be the name of the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.


4 The mouth of a strange woman is a deep pit: he whom the Lord is angry with, shall fall into it.


8 We have sent also with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel through all the churches.


and looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?


7 Cursed shall be thy barn, and cursed thy stores.


8 Give, and it shall be given to you: good measure and pressed down and shaken together and running over shall they give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you shall mete withal, it shall be measured to you again.


9 Which we have as an anchor of the soul, sure and firm, and which entereth in even within the veil;


And the days being expired, departing we went forward, they all bringing us on our way, with their wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and we prayed.


And behold an angel of the Lord stood by him: and a light shined in the room: and he striking Peter on the side, raised him up, saying: Arise quickly. And the chains fell off from his hands.


6 And judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and justice shall sit in charmel.
