2 Deliver Israel, O God, from all his tribulations.


2 I know that the Lord will do justice to the needy, and will revenge the poor.


But they shall proceed no farther; for their folly shall be manifest to all men, as theirs also was.


For in your heart you work iniquity: your hands forge injustice in the earth.


Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will call upon the name of the Lord our God.


2 A prince that gladly heareth lying words, hath all his servants wicked.


When the lord brought back the captivity of Sion, we became like men comforted.


4 As a neighbour and as an own brother, so did I please : as one mourning and sorrowful so was I humbled.

The innocent in hands, and clean of heart, who hath not taken his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.
