4 Now to him who is able to preserve you without sin, and to present you spotless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,


1 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of men, that they are vain.


He raiseth up the needy from the dust, and lifteth up the poor from the dunghill: that he may sit with princes, and hold the throne of glory. For the poles of the earth are the Lord's, and upon them he hath set the world.


7 And he measured the wall thereof an hundred and forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, which is of an angel.


5 About whom, when I was at Jerusalem, the chief priests, and the ancients of the Jews, came unto me, desiring condemnation against him.


6 Abraham your father rejoiced that he might see my day: he saw it, and was glad.


2 The Jews therefore said: Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest: If any man keep my word, he shall not taste death for ever.


2 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but he that shall speak against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in the world to come.


For my thoughts are not your thoughts: nor your ways my ways, saith the Lord.


6 He that neglecteth a loss for the sake of a friend, is just: but the way of the wicked shall deceive them.


My help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.


and God shall be exalted. The arrows of children are their wounds:


Thou hast moved the earth, and hast troubled it: heal thou the breaches thereof, for it has been moved.


How long shall I take counsels in my soul, sorrow in my heart all the day?


1 And the Lord sent an angel who cut off all the stout men and the warriors, and the captains of the army of the king of the Assyrians: and he returned with disgrace into his own country. And when he was come into the house of his god, his sons that came out of his bowels, slew him with the sword.


3 But he that shall deny me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven.


0 All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to them that seek after his covenant and his testimonies.
