8 For our protection is of the Lord, and of our king the holy one of Israel.


Now I praise you, brethren, that in all things you are mindful of me: and keep my ordinances as I have delivered them to you.


6 O Lord our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee a house for thy holy name, is from thy hand, and all things are thine.


8 His sneezing is like the shining of fire, and his eyes like the eyelids of the morning.


9 And do you therefore love strangers, because you also were strangers in the land of Egypt.


2 But the wheat, and other winter corn were not hurt, because they were lateward.


And all the people answered together: All that the Lord hath spoken, we will do. And when Moses had related the people's words to the Lord,


3 And now I will break in pieces his rod with which he struck thy back, and I will burst thy bonds asunder.


9 Thy mouth hath abounded with evil, and thy tongue framed deceits.


3 The same hour the word was fulfilled upon Nabuchodonosor, and he was driven away from among men, and did eat grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven: till his hairs grew like the feathers of eagles, and his nails like birds' claws.


Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore his footstool, for it is holy.


1 And they sacrificed victims to the Lord: and they offered holocausts the next day, a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, a thousand lambs, with their libations, and with every thing prescribed most abundantly for all Israel.


4 But Amasias after he had slain the Edomites, set up the gods of the children of Seir, which he had brought thence, to be his gods, and adored them, and burnt incense to them.


9 Who accepteth not the persons of princes : nor hath regarded the tyrant, when he contended against the poor man : for all are the work of his hands.


0 I will not stir him up, like one that is cruel : for who can resist my countenance?


7 Seeing thou hast hated discipline: and hast cast my words behind thee.


9 Then thou spokest in a vision to thy saints, and saidst: I have laid help upon one that is mighty, and have exalted one chosen out of my people.


And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many peoples as a lion among the beasts of the forests, and as a young lion among the docks of sheep: who when he shall go through and tread down, and take, there is none to deliver.
