for there is no truth in their mouth; their heart is vain.


1 Thou hast made us turn our back to our enemies : and they that hated us plundered for themselves.


3 And when he was come into the temple, there came to him, as he was teaching, the chief priests and ancients of the people, saying: By what authority dost thou these things? and who hath given thee this authority?


9 Deliver not up to beasts the souls that confess to thee: and forget not to the end the souls of thy poor.


7 And leaving them, he went out of the city into Bethania, and remained there.


Let all them be confounded that act unjust things without cause. Shew, O Lord, thy ways to me, and teach me thy paths.


3 Arise, O Lord, disappoint him and supplant him; deliver my soul from the wicked one: thy sword


The light of thy countenance O Lord, is signed upon us: thou hast given gladness in my heart.


But thou Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend:
