8 Thou perhaps hast made the heavens with him, which are most strong, as if they were of molten brass.


0 For also when we were with you, this we declared to you: that, if any man will not work, neither let him eat.


1 And another of his disciples said to him: Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.


2 And let them exalt him in the church of the people: and praise him in the chair of the ancients.


7 They were troubled, and reeled like a drunken man; and all their wisdom was swallowed up.


8 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive; thou hast received gifts in men. Yea for those also that do not believe, the dwelling of the Lord God.


6 The king is not saved by a great army: nor shall the giant be saved by his own great strength.


2 And he said to them: Take me up, and cast me into the sea, and the sea shall be calm to you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.


5 But Job hath spoken foolishly, and his words sound not discipline.
