The prayer of David. Hear, O Lord, my justice: attend to my supplication. Give ear unto my prayer, which proceedeth not from deceitful lips.


2 Caph. For if he hath cast off, he will also have mercy, according to the multitude of his mercies.


4 The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy justifications.


To Titus my beloved son, according to the common faith, grace and peace from God the Father, and from Christ Jesus our Savior.


Because thou, O Lord, art my hope: thou hast made the most High thy refuge.


Come and behold ye the works of the Lord: what wonders he hath done upon earth,


Blessed be the Lord, for he hath heard the voice of my supplication.


Now they have known, that all things which thou hast given me, are from thee:


and they knew not both in the going out and on the highest top. As with axes in a wood of trees,


My heart is ready, O God, my heart is ready: I will Sing, and rehearse a psalm.


For God is the king of all the earth: sing ye wisely.


He hath subdued the people under us; and the nations under our feet.


9 Let not them that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me : who have hated me without cause, and wink with the eyes.


There is but one, and he hath not a second, no child, no brother, and yet he ceaseth not to labour, neither are his eyes satisfied with riches, neither doth he reflect, saying: For whom do I labour, and defraud my soul of good things? in this also is vanity, and a grievous vexation.
