Moreover all the children of Israel saw the fire coming down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house: and falling down with their faces to the ground, upon the stone pavement, they adored and praised the Lord: because he is good, because his mercy endureth for ever.


5 I have digged, and drunk water, and have dried up with the sole of my foot, all the rivers shut up in banks.


And I said to the king: If it seem good to the king, and if thy servant hath found favour in thy sight, that thou wouldst send me into Judea to the city of the sepulchre of my father, and I will build it.


1 I beseech thee, O Lord, let thy ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants who desire to fear thy name: and direct thy servant this day, and give him mercy before this man. For I was the king's cupbearer.


3 But as for the just, they shall give glory to thy name: and the upright shall dwell with thy countenance.


and their tongues against them are made weak. All that saw them were troubled;


Save, O Lord, thy people, and bless thy inheritance: and rule them and exalt them for ever.


From them that resist thy right hand keep me, as the apple of thy eye. Protect me under the shadow of thy wings.


0 Their throat is an open sepulchre: they dealt deceitfully with their tongues: judge them, O God. Let them fall from their devices: according to the multitude of their wickedness cast them out: for they have provoked thee, O Lord.
