He will guide the mild in judgment: he will teach the meek his ways.

4 And you shall come in the morning every one by your tribes: and what tribe soever the lot shall find, it shall come by its kindreds and the kindred by its houses, and the house by the men.


Beth. The Lord hath cast down headlong, and hath not spared, all that was beautiful in Jacob: he hath destroyed in his wrath the strong holds of the virgin of Juda, and brought them down to the ground: he hath made the kingdom unclean, and the princes thereof.


From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is worthy of praise.


But vain are the sons of men, the sons of men are liars in the balances: that by vanity they may together deceive.


They will dwell and hide themselves: they will watch my heel. As they have waited for my soul,


He hath devised iniquity on his bed, he hath set himself on every way that is not good : but evil he hath not hated.


6 Let them blush : and be ashamed together, who rejoice at my evils. Let them be clothed with confusion and shame, who speak great things against me.


8 To judge for the fatherless and for the humble, that man may no more presume to magnify himself upon earth.


For he hath said in his heart: I shall not be moved from generation to generation, and shall be without evil.


3 And after all that is come upon us, for our most wicked deeds, and our great sin, seeing that thou our God hast saved us from our iniquity, and hast given us a deliverance as at this day,
