6 He that keepeth the commandment, keepeth his own soul: but he that neglecteth his own way, shall die.


Riches make many friends: but from the poor man, even they whom he had, depart.


2 As the roaring of a lion, so also is the anger of a king: and his cheerfulness as the dew upon the grass.


Better is a dry morsel with joy, than a house full of victims with strife.


2 And the daughters of Tyre with gifts, yea, all the rich among the people, shall entreat thy countenance.


7 And he measured the wall thereof an hundred and forty-four cubits, the measure of a man, which is of an angel.


A wise son heareth the doctrine of his father: but he that is a scorner, beareth not when he is reproved.


5 The soul which blesseth, shall be made fat: and he that inebriateth, shall be inebriated also himself.


9 Clemency prepareth life: and the pursuing of evil things, death.


6 A gracious woman shall find glory: and the strong shall have riches.


4 They shall return at evening and shall suffer hunger like dogs: and shall go round about the city.


1 Be thou exalted, O God, above the l heavens: and thy glory above all the earth.


All have gone aside, they are become unprofitable together, there is none that doth good, no not one.


For I will behold thy heavens, the works of thy fingers: the moon and the stars which thou hast founded.


5 A wise heart shall acquire knowledge: and the ear of the wise seeketh instruction.


5 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: Behold I will feed this people with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.
