And them that worship the host of heaven upon the tops of houses, and them that adore, and swear by the Lord, and swear by Melchom.


Let the charity of the brotherhood abide in you.


1 For all seek the things that are their own; not the things that are Jesus Christ's.


0 Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you that mourn for her.


6 But as to the king of Juda that sent you to beseech the Lord, thus shall you say to him: Thus saith the Lord the God of Israel: Because thou hast heard the words of this book,


0 I am ready, and am not troubled: that I may keep thy commandments.


2 And he adjured all that were found in Jerusalem and Benjamin to do the same: and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of the Lord the God of their fathers.


Then the children of Israel put away Baalim and Astaroth, and served the Lord only.


Of Heman also: the sons of Heman, Bocciau, Mathaniau, Oziel, Subuel, and Jerimoth, Hananias, Hanani, Eliatha, Geddelthi, and Romemthiezer, and Jesbacassa, Mellothi, Othir, Mahazioth:


6 Thus saith the Lord: Behold, I will bring evils upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, all the words of the law which the king of Juda hath read:


They have driven away the ass of the fatherless, and have taken away the widow's ox for a pledge.


8 Which is a very great iniquity, and a denial against the most high God.


The heavens shall confess thy wonders, O Lord: and thy truth in the church of the saints.


3 As one whom the mother caresseth, so will I comfort you, and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
