0 Behold I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy justice.


3 And take not thou the word of truth utterly out of my mouth: for in thy words have I hoped exceedingly.

1 The proud did iniquitously altogether: but I declined not from thy law.


3 And Solomon slew victims of peace offerings, which he sacrificed to the Lord, two and twenty thousand oxen, and hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king, and the children of Israel dedicated the temple of the Lord.


8 And he sent the people away every one to their own possession.


2 Purifying your souls in the obedience of charity, with a brotherly love, from a sincere heart love one another earnestly:


2 Now know ye the proof of him, that as a son with the father, so hath he served with me in the gospel.


9 I know thy works, and thy faith, and thy charity, and thy ministry, and thy patience, and thy last works which are more than the former.


In Jerusalem also Josaphat appointed Levites, and priests and chiefs of the families of Israel, to judge the judgment and the cause of the Lord for the inhabitants thereof.


5 And to carry the silver and gold, which the king and his counsellors have freely offered to the God of Israel, whose tabernacle is in Jerusalem.


9 For by thee I shall be delivered from temptation; and through my God I shall go over a wall.


Then shalt thou understand justice, and judgment, and equity, and every good path.
