1 He said unto him: Go down, and charge the people: lest they should have a mind to pass the limits to see the Lord, and a very great multitude of them should perish.


1 And the people stood afar off. But Moses went to the dark cloud wherein God was.


4 Thou hast cursed his sceptres, the head of his warriors, them that came out as a whirlwind to scatter me. Their joy was like that of him that devoureth the poor man in secret.


And he that sat on the throne, said: Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me: Write, for these words are most faithful and true.


6 I have heard and my bowels were troubled: my lips trembled at the voice. Let rottenness enter into my bones, and swarm under me. That I may rest in the day of tribulation: that I may go up to our people that are girded.


O Lord my God, I have cried to thee, and then hast healed me.


4 And he sent forth his arrows, and he scattered them: he multiplied lightnings, and troubled them.


3 And now I will break in pieces his rod with which he struck thy back, and I will burst thy bonds asunder.


3 That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thy enemies; the tongue of thy dogs be red with the same.


3 O forgive me, that I may be refreshed, before I go hence, and be no more.
