1 May the glory of the Lord endure for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in his works.


1 My son, fear the Lord and the king: and have nothing to do with detracters.


2 and in thy mercy thou wilt destroy my enemies. And thou wilt cut off all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.


1 Have I not hated them, O Lord, that hated thee: and pine away because of thy enemies?


And the third poured out his vial upon the rivers and the fountains of waters; and there was made blood.


Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together in Christ, (by whose grace you are saved,)


1 The tree was great, and strong: and the height thereof reached unto heaven: the sight thereof was even to the ends of all the earth.


8 I said in my heart concerning the sons of men, that God would prove them, and shew them to be like beasts.


3 The wicked man taketh gifts out of the bosom, that he may pervert the paths of judgment.


4 For whosoever are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.


Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness, and patience, and longsuffering? Knowest thou not, that the benignity of God leadeth thee to penance?


3 Whether in one tribe, or in his own land, or in what place soever of his mercy he shall command them to be found.


5 I, who although I should have any just thing, would not answer, but would make supplication to my judge.


4 They shall meet with darkness in the day, and grope at noonday as in the night.


0 He hath chosen strong wood, and that will not rot: the skilful workman seeketh how he may set up an idol that may not be moved.


God hath spoken in his holiness. I will rejoice, and I will divide Sichem and I will mete out the vale of tabernacles.


O ye seed of Abraham his servant; ye sons of Jacob his chosen.
