And behold six men came from the way of the upper gate, which looketh to the north: and each one had his weapon of destruction in his hand: and there was one man in the midst of them clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn at his reins: and they went in, and stood by the brazen altar.


4 For the Lord will not cast off his people: neither will he forsake his own inheritance.


8 But indeed for deceits thou hast put it to them: when they were lifted up thou hast cast them down.


3 Wherefore hath the wicked provoked God? for he hath said in his heart: He will not require it.


And when he had commanded the man that was clothed with linen, saying: Take fire from the midst of the wheels that are between the cherubims: he went in and stood beside the wheel,


All these things have I considered in my heart, that I might carefully understand them: there are just men and wise men, and their works are in the hand of God: and yet man knoweth not whether he be worthy of love, or hatred:


O hear my prayer: all flesh shall come to thee.


7 Wherefore I say to thee: Many sins are forgiven her, because she hath loved much. But to whom less is forgiven, he loveth less.


4 And when he was passing by, he saw Levi the son of Alpheus sitting at the receipt of custom; and he saith to him: Follow me. And rising up, he followed him.


5 They shall be scattered abroad to eat, and shall murmur if they be not filled.


The words of the wicked have prevailed over us: and thou wilt pardon our transgressions.


0 And the pride of Israel shall be humbled before his face: and they have not returned to the Lord their God, nor have they sought him in all these.
